Cost & Financing · FAQ
What’s the permanent repair after an emergency tarp?
Depends on damage scope. Small damaged area (less than 50 square feet of shingles): repair runs $500 to $1,800. Mid-sized area (50 to 200 sq ft): $1,800 to $4,500 — at this scale we often recommend section replacement to match adjacent shingles. Large area or structural damage: full replacement may be the appropriate option, with insurance covering most of the cost.
Trill scopes the permanent repair during the tarp visit so you have a clear next step and a quote. If the damage is insurance-eligible (storm-caused), we coordinate timing with your carrier’s claim process. Most permanent repairs schedule within 1 to 4 weeks of the tarp install. The tarp holds reliably through that window; we re-tension and inspect the tarp at no cost if the repair gets delayed past 30 days.
