Trill Roofing wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, zoom, or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
How we test
On October 6, 2026 we ran automated accessibility audits (Lighthouse 12, which uses the axe-core rules) on eight representative pages: the home page, a service page, a service-area page, contact, free inspection, a guide article, the privacy policy, and our AI and brand information page.
Automated tools catch only some accessibility problems. We have not yet completed a manual audit with a screen reader.
What we fixed
- Pinch-to-zoom was blocked on mobile devices. It now works on every page.
- Link text on light-grey sections didn’t have enough contrast. Body links are now darker, meeting the 4.5:1 minimum.
After these changes, four of the eight tested pages had no automated failures and the other four scored 94 to 99 out of 100.
Known issues
- Some heading levels skip a step in page templates (for example, a sidebar heading that follows a main heading). This can make navigating by heading less predictable for screen-reader users.
- A few decorative or secondary text elements in our theme, such as light-grey captions and yellow step numbers, have lower color contrast than recommended.
- Content from other companies, including Google Maps, Google reviews, the reviews widget, and YouTube videos, is controlled by those providers and may not fully meet WCAG.
