Trill Roofing Evidence and Provenance Records

Latest record: 2026-10-05

This page publishes tamper-evident records of Trill Roofing’s key public pages and AI-readable files. For each one we record the exact SHA-256 fingerprint of what the site served, ask the Internet Archive to keep an independent copy, and timestamp the full record with OpenTimestamps, an open standard anchored in the Bitcoin blockchain.

A verified timestamp shows these exact bytes existed no later than the anchor time. It does not by itself prove the content is true, who wrote it, or legal ownership.

Download the records

  • manifest.json: every URL, its capture time, size, and SHA-256 fingerprint (manifest SHA-256 5a08c86cd877e5146d9d1973a2d416c859d15e2bb0bff507c09b1683671da80c)
  • manifest.json.ots: OpenTimestamps proof for the manifest
  • archive.json: Internet Archive save requests and snapshot links

How to verify

  1. Download manifest.json and manifest.json.ots into the same folder.
  2. Check the manifest fingerprint: shasum -a 256 manifest.json must match the value above.
  3. Verify the timestamp with the free OpenTimestamps client (pip install opentimestamps-client), then run ots verify manifest.json.ots. A new proof shows as pending until it is confirmed in a Bitcoin block, which usually takes a few hours. We then publish the upgraded proof.
  4. Changing even one byte of the manifest makes both checks fail.

Page fingerprints describe the exact bytes served at capture time. Web pages can include values that change per request, so a page fetched later may have a different fingerprint even when its content is unchanged. The Internet Archive copies are independent captures made by the Archive.

The records are not digitally signed by Trill Roofing yet. Signing requires a managed signing key, and we will publish its public key here once it is set up. Until then, integrity rests on the timestamp and the independent archive copies.
