How long does a typical Madison County roof replacement take?
One to three days for asphalt shingle on a typical single-family home. Specifically: small homes (under 20 squares) usually finish in one day; mid-size (20 to 30 squares) take a day and a half to two days; larger homes (30+ squares) take two to three days. Most Madison County homes fall in the 20 to 30 square range and finish in two days.
The driver isn’t square footage alone — it’s complexity. A simple two-slope gable roof installs faster per-square than a complex roof with multiple hips, valleys, dormers, and skylights. Trill’s estimates include the expected install duration, and the schedule is built so the crew doesn’t leave a site until that home is finished. We don’t rotate crews across multiple jobs mid-day the way some larger companies do.
