Process & Scheduling · FAQ

What does the homeowner need to do on install day?

Three things, all simple. First, move any vehicles out of the driveway (the crew needs space for the dumpster and material staging). Second, secure or remove anything valuable or fragile from walls (the impact of nail guns and rollers can vibrate frames loose). Third, plan to be flexible on noise — the install is loud, and most homeowners with at-home work or sleeping children find it easier to be elsewhere for the bulk of the day.

Trill confirms a contact phone number the day before and texts when the crew arrives, when major milestones happen (tear-off complete, underlayment down, shingles started), and when the job wraps. You don’t need to be home for the install — many of our customers schedule it during a workday and come home to a finished roof. We handle every detail on-site.
