Insurance & Storm Damage · FAQ

Are reviews enough or should I ask for references?

Both. Online reviews show pattern across many customers; references let you ask specific questions about your situation. Trill provides 5 to 10 references on request, including past customers in your specific city when possible. We also publish customer photos and reviews on the site with permission.

The questions worth asking a reference: how was communication during the project, were there any issues and how were they handled, did the project stay on budget, would they hire the contractor again. A reference who answers all four positively is a meaningful endorsement. Reviews aggregate hundreds of opinions; references give depth on a few. Use them together rather than substituting one for the other.
