Does Trill handle the warranty registration?

Yes — automatically, on every install. We register your manufacturer warranty with the shingle brand within 30 days of project completion. You receive a copy of the registration via email; the manufacturer retains the original.

The registration matters because some manufacturer warranties require it within a defined window (typically 30 days) for the enhanced system-warranty coverage to activate. Skipping the registration step drops you back to the basic 30-year limited warranty rather than the 50-year enhanced. Trill catches this on every job. The customer doesn’t have to do anything other than receive the email confirmation we send.
